Don't be fooled by the glossy TV advertisements. In our experience, Cantre Mobility in Carmarthen is simply the best.As a local, independent business, they offer exceptional personal service. Anwen and Darrel are amazing—so helpful, friendly and encouraging. They take the time to let you try different scooters before you buy, and nothing is ever too much trouble.You can whizz around the car park to your heart's content, getting a real feel for each scooter. They'll show you how to fold it, put it together, take it apart, pack it away, and they'll even help you see if it fits in the boot of your car. There's no hard sell like you can experience with some of the bigger national companies—just honest advice and a genuine desire to make sure you choose the scooter that's right for you.They certainly have a bigger selection than many of the nationwide retailers, and their prices are very competitive too. We couldn't have asked for better customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a mobility scooter.Buying a mobility scooter is a significant investment and a big decision. As they say, embrace the technology that's available to help you live life to the full. I was nervous coming in but Darrell put me at ease from the first smile!
He was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right scooter for me. He took us outside to try on the flat and up the road and stayed with us as I happily tried it out. As this was a major investment, we shopped around before making a decision, and we found the staff, Darrell and Anwen, to be outstanding. Their knowledge, friendly approach, product selection, and prices were all far better than anywhere else we visited.

There was absolutely no hard sell, and we were encouraged to try products before buying, which gave us real confidence in our choice. They also offered far more options than the other mobility centres we visited.

If you're looking for excellent customer service, a fantastic range of products to suit all needs, competitive prices, and genuinely helpful, accommodating staff, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I have bought several items from the Carmarthen Branch and each time the staff have been most helpful and very pleasant 😊 the most recent purchase is a bed for my 92yr old mum, we were shown several type and mum chose the one she liked best . It arrived really quickly and they even removed the other bed , the young man who set it up did a brilliant job especially as he was on his own and even had an injured thumb 👍 so thank you and well done to all the Carmarthen staff, you are wonderful.
